After our gelato starter we opted to skip mains and go straight to pud.... It will along time before we get another langos!!!!!

Boys go to the spa

We headed off for a nice relaxing swim at the Gellert spa, only to find they make everyone wear a swimming cap.  We looked so good in ours we took a picture .... signed copies available at very reasonable rates!!!

Boys forced to be arty

After our last comment about arty shots her and herself forced us to do culture

They even forced us to to pose in a structure that had Danger - do not enter may fall down sign!!!

Boys play with guns....

Her and herself took arty pictures of the amazing view from the citadel - a view we had seen many times over the last few days from every viewpoint!!! Too much culture and panoramic shots are bad for us so we had fun playing with big guns!!!

Boys do coffee and cake

Herself found this place on trip advisor. Shame they had just eaten breakfast and could not manage another mouthful - unlike Oscar and I, who as you know work off a lot of calories at the gym so could enjoy a tasty treat!

Boys go royal....

As Olaf & I had so bravely fought & banished the scary dragon, the nice Hungarian President justly rewarded us with a crown for our good deed.  It may be slightly oversized & a tad on the heavy side but the recognition & gift was greatly appreciated!

Dragon fighting on Castle Hill

Once we had ascended the hill-top we came across this triple-headed, fire-breathing, puppet-eating dragon. Oskar & I fearlessly fought the dragon & banished him forever to Margitsziget Island in the middle of the Danube. We hope that he will play nicely with the children playing in the park here........

Boys scale the hill

We decided to take the funicular up the hill to visit the Buda Castle.  Even though we are now very good at taking pictures of ourselves, the locals were giving us some odd looks!!

Boys find food.....

Her and herself went for a sweet option for lunch ... Having langos deep fried bread, but we boys like a bit of spicy sausage....

 

Her and herself seemed to think we had "eyes bigger than belly" syndrome.  Little did they know!!

Boys make more new friends

 

While her and herself decided to play with trains, trams and buses in order to get around the city, we hooked up with this rather attractive lady and her pets to do our own independent sight-seeing.

 

 

She took us to meet Pan; we assumed it would either be Peter Pan or the God Pan.  This Pan was neither and appeared to be waiting for a tram.....

 

We did find this rather delightful young lady though, and played with her and her dog for a while!

 

Eventually we decided we should be a little more grown-up and went to visit Shakespeare.

Boys use their clubcard

Would you believe it - her and herself have been in Pest less than 24 hours and and they head to an English supermarket!!!  Prior to that, they had argued over if they were in Paris or Tokyo before realising their error!  Even after accepting that they should have learnt some Hungarian, they argued over which Club Card they should use!!!
