Boys like being smart

It seems that Getty is fun, we got to swing from bridges

And Oskar got more panoramic photo opportunities

Boys get smart

On our last day themselves decided to do something educational, that might have something to do with the fact there is no room in any of the four suitcases for anymore shopping!!!!

Boys love cupcakes

Only in LA would you find a cupcake ATM - we love LA

Sadly Olaf and I do not have a credit card, a requirement of the cupcake ATM, and had to rely on themselves to get us a one. When they did not Olaf resorted to desperate measures to steal the cakes. However he got caught in the act!

Boys see dead people

One of the stops today was at the Westwood Memorial cemetery, heaven knows why themselves decided to have it on the itinerary but they are a little odd. But we got a real shock when we came across this plaque as we were with Marilyn just a few days ago.... how's that possible when she has been dead for 50 years?

Boys make it to the La Brea Tar Pits

Some of you will know that one of themselves had a hissy fit over the price of the parking at the tar pits when we visited last time..... this time we were determined not to let anything stop us, even if it meant pretending to be one of the exhibits

we were not so keen on taking part in this one, have you seen the size of their teeth

This one was much more our scene, not only was it closer to our size it was soft and fluffy.... just like us

Boys are chilling

Her and herself were off to play on more scary rides so, being the wise puppets we are are we opted to stay behind and guard the room. Once themselves had left we headed for the pool and , enjoying the sunshine and the poolside ambiance

Boys go wild at Knott's Berry Farm

It seems that Snoopy has a very good memory. He remembered Olaf and I from our last visit and invited us to meet up with him and some friends

We were so happy we felt the overwhelming urge to skip!!!

Boys make more friends

We popped to Elmer's for a bite of breakfast before hitting the road, it seems that we were in good company as we bumped in to ole blue eyes

and of course our very own Prince of Wales

sadly Oskar found it all a bit too much and made an exhibition of himself by fainting

Boys find the owner of the shoe

After discovering the large red stiletto last week in Vegas we found the owner in downtown Palm Springs.... she might look a little familiar to those more discerning followers!

and no, we were not looking up her skirt....

Boys and bears

Themselves decided as they could not hook an airman they needed more retail therapy - Olaf and I could not face a single more shop so headed off to find somewhere to rest our sore feet. However we were in for a bit of a surprise ...... There were bears in that there shopping centre

Boys have a slight problem

The airman very kindly let us pop inside another of the planes, and offered to let us take it for a quick spin. Regrettably I had to tell Olaf his feet would not reach the peddles and we had to remain on the ground

Boys find an airman

We could not resist sitting with this airman to show her and herself how easy it is to hook one ..... all it takes is a little charm and a heck of lot of cheek. It does help that we are very cute

Planes, trains and automobiles

Well not quite but we had a great time planning our strategy for taking over the world.... well the Mustang anyway

We could not believe they had puppet size carriers in WWII but you learn something new everyday ;) Olaf and I decided to launch a few planes for an observation mission over Marshalls just to check on themselves

Boys get to play with planes

Her and herself were after bagging an airman so decided to visit the Palm Springs Air Museum, via Marshalls, Bed, Bath & Beyond and Ross - for a change!!!! They were taking so long we decided to go without them. Luckily those veterans are very helpful along with telling us so interesting stuff they let us into the planes

Some of the seats were not really designed for a puppet or two

These were more like it

Boys pray themselves know what they are doing

Themselves decided that today would be a good day for a hike to Barker Dam, as temperatures were much lower today ... around about 96 degrees

it should be about 1.1 mile round trip but as we know themselves have very little sense of direction even with a Tom Tom so we were concerned we would not make it back to the car... and where was the Dam promised water?????

Oskar got carried away

and while her and herself were away we decided to play with herselfs camera - and much better we are at it too, as you can see !!

Boys are still divided

Oskar got a little physical with me today, just because I did not fancy rock climbing

well why would you

Karma

As you know her and herself insisted we came here by puppet-handling us into the car... Well the tree in this picture stabbed her of her and herself, causing much blood loss and pain ... Karma we think thanks to my examination of the flora!

although there was no need to panic, a trip to the emergency room was not required but themselves spent a heck of a long time in Target...
